Naturalism can be thought of as our philosophy.
From the google/Britannica definition:
“naturalism, in philosophy, a theory that relates scientific method to philosophy by affirming that all beings and events in the universe (whatever their inherent character may be) are natural. Consequently, all knowledge of the universe falls within the pale of scientific investigation.”
It can also be thought of as “The Natural Religion” or “The Natural Method” to denote more of the actual practice of the philosophy.
What does this entail?
What do other religions have?
A central object or worship? Ours is nature and the cosmos, of which we are a part.
A guide for behavior and morality, this can be derived from the natural world and our understanding through science, as well as our engineering and experimentation with what works (Evolutionary Computation)
A church or temple, for us this is also the natural world, but we also utilize digital and other spaces, beyond that our own minds and bodies are our temples.
